Obituary
On May 26, 2016, Mrs. Carol Dacyk of Vilna passed away at the age of 62 years. She is survived by her loving husband of 36 years, Dave; 2 daughters, Amanda (Dan Dorey) Dacyk of Ottawa, ON & Val Dacyk of Edmonton; mother, Kay Pullen of Calgary; father, Jack Pullen of Calgary; 2 brothers & 1 sister, Rick (Davorka) Pullen of Calgary, Heather (Ken Fidlin) Pullen of Toronto, Stu (Lola) Pullen of Calgary; 1 uncle, Bob Kirby of Waskatenau; numerous nieces, nephews & other relatives. She was predeceased by her uncle, Erlyn; parents-in-law, Sadie & Paul Dacyk. A Funeral Service will be held on Tuesday, May 31 at 11:00 a.m. at Ashmont United Church, Ashmont. Reverend Danielle James will be officiating, with cremation to follow. If desired, donations may be made to Canadian Cancer Society c/o 5626 – 51 Street, St. Paul, AB T0A 3A1. I have drank many cups of coffee with Carol at my sister’s kitchen table over the years. My sister was Carol’s mother in law and each time I visited Carol and Dave shared coffee breaks with us. During all the years I learned so much about who Carol was and grew to love her as my niece. Carol I will miss you especially since we connected on FB. Rest in Peace my dear.
