Obituary
On August 1, 2019 Mr. Blair “Chubby” Halfe of Saddle Lake passed away at the age of 49 years. He is survived by his loving wife, Carla Sparklingeyes; son, Delvin Arcand; daughter, Desirae Halfe Arcand (Mark); grandson, Cullen; mother, Shirley Badger; stepmother, Eleanor Steinhauer; brother, Billy; sisters, Jodyann (Tim) & Bobbie-Jean (Ryan); niece & nephews, Ashely, Darius, Dentin, Christian, Kona & Mahikan; numerous nieces & nephews from the Sparklingeyes & Breast families; numerous uncles & aunties; in-laws, Alex & Vera Sparklingeyes. Blair was predeceased by his son, Dalton Halfe Arcand; & father, William Halfe Sr. A Wake will be held on Wednesday (leaving Grace Gardens at 3:00 p.m.) & Thursday, August 7 & 8 at Goodfish Lake Cultural Centre, Goodfish Lake. A Funeral Service will be held on Friday, August 9 at 11:00 a.m. at Goodfish Lake Cultural Centre, Goodfish Lake. My sincere condolences to his wife Carla, his children, family and the many, many friends. I grew up with Blair, in school, on the hockey/sports trail and as a relative and good friend. He always acknowledged, was kind, sincere and appreciative in many ways. He certainly will be missed. My prayers for those hearts he has touched and may his memories bring peace and comfort during this difficult time.
