Obituary
On September 6, 2013, Mr. Bernie Drolet of St. Paul passed away at the age of 80 years. He is survived by his loving wife of 60 years, Gwen; 2 sons & 5 daughters, Sharlene (Rob) Gobert, Valerie Drolet & Karen (Mark) Drolet-Deputat all of Edmonton, Marie (Guy) Pomerleau, Doug (Denise) Drolet, Cliff (Lori) Drolet & Anita Carson all of St. Paul; 16 grandchildren, Dale, Robin, Radelle, Ken, Kerri, Jesse, Cade, Amanda, Daphne, Jonathan, Shawn, Annie, Erin, Marci, Ross & Matthew; 8 great-grandchildren, Caleb, Matea, Tahlea, Kianna, Hunter, Aleah, Logan & Avery; 3 brothers & 2 sisters, Edward (Norma) Drolet, Paul (Debbie) Drolet both of Lamont, Lucille (Fred) Roux of Fort Kent, Marguerite (Alex) Dutka of Edmonton & Hector (Sue) Drolet of Hanley; sister-in-law, Shirley Mooney of Prince George, B.C.; numerous nieces & nephews. He was predeceased by his parents, Joseph & Alexandrine; 1 daughter, Marilyn Garowey; 1 brother, Alex Drolet. Prayer Service will be held on Thursday, September 12 at 7:30 p.m. at St. Paul’s Cathedral, St. Paul. Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Friday, September 13 at 10:30 a.m. at St. Paul’s Cathedral, St. Paul. Reverend Father Gerard Gauthier will be the celebrant. Cremation will follow. If desired, donations may be made to Haying in the 30's (Cancer Support Society) c/o 5626 – 51 Street, St. Paul, AB T0A 3A1.
