Obituary
On May 28, 2015, Mrs. Annie Taschuk “Baba T.” of Smoky Lake passed away at the age of 90 years. She is survived by her children, Helen (Wayne) Thorne of Edmonton, Larry Taschuk of Fort St. John, Emily Oleksiuk of Fort Saskatchewan, Terry (Therese) Taschuk & Sandy Zawaski both of Smoky Lake; 17 grandchildren; 16 great-grandchildren; sister, Katherine Romanchuk of Saskatoon, SK.; 2 brothers-in-law, Steve Odynak & Nick Watamaniuk; sister-in-law, Ann Semeluk; numerous nieces & nephews. She was predeceased by her husband, Peter in 1987; sons, Billy, Henry & Robert; daughter, Betty Ann; sisters, Emily, Isabelle, Helen & Mary; brothers, Mike, Nick, Bill “Sambo” & Johnny. Prayer Service will be held on Friday, June 5 at 7:00 p.m. at Sts. Peter & Paul Russo-Orthodox Church, Dickie Bush. A Funeral Service will be held on Saturday, June 6 at 10:00 a.m. at Sts. Peter & Paul Russo-Orthodox Church, Dickie Bush. Very Reverend Father Gerasim Power will be officiating, with interment in the church cemetery. If desired, donations may be made to Haying in the 30's (Cancer Support Society) c/o 5626 – 51 Street, St. Paul, AB T0A 3A1.
