Obituary
On June 26, 2020, Ernie Shtybel of St. Paul passed away at the age of 74 years. He is survived by his loving wife of 52 years, Rachel Shtybel (nee Hebert); children, Tammy (Steve) Krueckl, Shelley (Darren) Scheuer, Kevin (Roxanne) Shtybel & Cary Shtybel; 10 grandchildren, Maxwell & Emily Krueckl, Julia & Benjamin Scheuer, Vanessa, Gena, Oakley, Tory, Austin & Marrissa Shtybel; brothers, Don & Dennis Shtybel; sisters, Polly Worobec & Joan Fedorak. Ernie was predeceased by his parents, John & Anne Shtybel; his sisters, Irene Ungurian & Victoria βVickiβ Taschuk; & brother, Laurie Shtybel. The Family of Ernie Shtybel would like to thank Dr. Woytiuk and the nurses on the 2nd floor of the St. Therese Healthcare Centre for their excellent care. A Private Memorial Mass will be held at St. Paul Cathedral, St. Paul with Reverend Father Gerard Gauthier officiating. Cremation has taken place. Inurnment in Glenwood Memorial Gardens, Sherwood Park at a later date. If desired, donations may be made to Haying in the 30’s (Cancer Support Society) c/o 5626 – 51 Street, St. Paul, AB T0A 3A1.
