Obituary
On January 9, 2020, Ms. Nicole Susan Lee Berland “Nipîyiw-skiw, Water Woman” of Frog Lake passed away at the age of 36 years. Nicole was a loving mother, daughter, sister, aunt, niece & cousin. She is survived by her loving parents, Angeline & William Berland; children, Nikie, Brandi, Odessa, William & Albert; siblings, Albert, Lance, Dwight, William Jr., Joanne “Butter” Saddleback (Neil) & Tyler Saskatchewan; spouse, Randy Wahobin; uncles & aunties, Rodney (Margaret), Hubert (Eva), Laverne (Donette), Lorin (Kim), Pauline (Ken), Annabelle (Roland), Joanne (Herb), Elmer (Jane), Raymond & George (Shirley); adopted dad, Clayton Trottier; numerous nieces & nephews. Nicole was predeceased by her grandparents, David & Mary Rose Moocheweines and George & Philomene Faithful; her brother, Conrad Berland; aunts, Ida Koenig & Jean F. Viola Faithful; cousin, Ronny Moocheweines. A Wake will be held on Sunday (leaving Grace Gardens at 2:00 p.m.) & Monday, January 19 & 20 at Norman C. Quinney Careers Centre, Frog Lake. Funeral Service will be held on Tuesday, January 21 at 11:00 a.m. at Norman C. Quinney Careers Centre, Frog Lake. Reverend Father Joji Boyapati will be officiating with interment in Our Lady of Good Counsel Roman Catholic Cemetery, Frog Lake.
