Obituary
On March 29, 2019 Mrs. Mimi (Anne Marie) Bouchard of Elk Point, formerly of Moose Lake, passed away at the age of 88 years. She is survived by her loving husband of 67 years, Joe; 4 daughters, Micheline (Rob) Walker of Elk Point, Diane (Marc) Gareau of Edmonton, Danielle (Doug) Hay of Edmonton & Claire-Anne (Brian Dawson) Bouchard of Hay River, NWT; 8 grandchildren, Genevieve (Phil), Stefan, Joshua, Jeannette (Adrian), Erin, Julien (Shannon), Cale (Fion) & Georgia; 5 great-grandchildren, Madison, Maxim, Mason, Eva & Violet; 10 siblings, Margo (Nick), Andre (Elsie), Denise (Don), Cecile, Emile, Francoise, Juliette, Raoul (Louise), Jean (Renee) & Etienne (Coleen). Mrs. Bouchard was predeceased by her parents, Herve & Marie Anne Johnson; son, Jacques; daughters, Marie & Johanne; sister, Therese; brothers, Clement & Jacques. A Memorial Mass will be held on Saturday, April 6 at 1:00 p.m. at St. Michael’s Roman Catholic Church, Elk Point. Reverend Father Gerard Gauthier will be the celebrant, with private inurnment in Holy Family Roman Catholic Cemetery, Bonnyville at a later date. Cremation has taken place.
