Obituary
On February 25, 2015, Mr. Melvin Brown of Elk Point passed away at the age of 60 years. He is survived by his loving wife, Iris of 35 years; 1 son & 2 daughters, Charissa Brown of Vermilion, Travis (Megan) Brown of Leduc & Jasmine (Spencer) Tiedemann of Leduc; 4 grandchildren, Aidan, Brantley, Lily & Jacob; loving mother, Emily Brown of Vermilion; father- & mother-in-law, Henry & Ann Ewanec of Myrnam; brother-in-law, Dennis Ewanec of Myrnam; sister-in-law, Connie (Art) Brodbin of Clandonald; niece & nephew, Kali & Thomas Brodbin. He was predeceased by his father, Arthur Brown. A Memorial Service will be held on Wednesday, March 4 at 11:00 a.m. at Allied Arts & Leisure Centre, Elk Point. Pastor Kelly Sibley will be officiating. Cremation has taken place. If desired, donations may be made to Canadian Cancer Society or Cross Cancer Institute c/o 5626 – 51 Street, St. Paul, AB T0A 3A1.
