Obituary
On March 24, 2014, Mr. Louis Cardinal of Saddle Lake passed away at the age of 80 years. He is survived by his loving wife, Emma; 5 sons & 1 daughter, Gordon (Debbie Cardinal), Darryl (Marlene Quinney), Kenneth (Iris Cardinal), Eldon (Lisa Big John), Jason (Rene Houle) & Marlene (Caleb Shirt); 37 grandchildren; 40 great-grandchildren; 2 brothers, Archie Cardinal & Leonard Demarre. He was predeceased by 2 sons, Gary & Wesley; grandson, Cody Brown; parents, Sylvester & Katie Cardinal; brother, Helieus Demarre; sisters, Clara Demarre, Philomene Cardinal, Myrtle Steinhauer & Verna Large; brothers-in-law, Paul Steinhauer & Lawrence Large. A Wake will be held on Thursday & Friday, March 27 & 28 at Ayiwakes Cultural Centre, Saddle Lake. A Funeral Service will be held on Saturday, March 29 at 11:00 a.m. at Ayiwakes Cultural Centre, Saddle Lake. Relation: He was my uncle and a brother to my late mother Myrtle Steinhauer.
I am the neice of my late uncle, I live in Lapwai, Idaho with my one son Nakia J. Cloud, I am unable to make the services therefore I would like to send my utmost condolences to my aunt Emma and his surviving children, and my thoughts to Darryl and wife Marlene and his children Amanda, Elora, Lyle, Mallerie and Axile all for supporting my family in our times of need. Prayers from me and Sewaas, we love you all so very much!!
