From: CLEVE MURRAY
Relation: FRIEND, NEIGHBOUR, CLASSMATE

So very sorry to hear of Gladys passing, she always had a warm smile for everyone and a great personality. The community of Ashmont has lost a great volunteer. Gladys was one of the founding directors of the Ashmont Ag. Society and her compassion and efforts contributed to Society we currently enjoy today. For that we are extremely great full. Life is precious we are all better people because we have had a chance to share some of hers.

From: Dawna and Andy Davison
Relation: Life friend

Our hearts are broken for Gladys’s family, enjoy the remembrance of her beautiful soul and presence.
As a very young child we were overjoyed to learn the evenings that Gladys would be babysitting us. She was such a soft gentle person and made the best hot chocolate ever. Throughout the years of being raised in Ashmont we always lived near each other. Generations did not separate Gladys from any friendship. She was my grandmother and grandfathers friend, she was my mother and fathers friend, she was my sisters and brothers friend and most of all she was my dear friend.
In the last couple of years I got to visit with Gladys, no years had divided the things we got to talk about.
When my son was born he was very ill, Gladys visited me at my moms and constantly encouraged me, things were going to work out and she was so excited to meet Geoff when he got out of the hospital.
Kenny, Brenda, Butch, Judy, Larry, Betty Lou and their families our thoughts and prayers are with you through this very difficult time.
