Obituary

On September 14, 2021, Ashley Whitford of Edmonton passed away at the age of 31 years. Ashley’s light and life were stolen by the illness and addiction that took over her life. She is no longer suffering but resting in peace. She is survived by her children, David Whitford, Bryan Hunter, Aaliyah Hunter, Natalie Hunter, Maisyn Cardinal & Tesla Cardinal; her loving parents, Cindy & Jerry Morin; siblings, Gerald (Janet), Tannes, Tracey, Corrin, Darren, Jane, Harvey, Percy (Michelle), Lenny, Darcy (Brendan) & Kelly (Dalton); “special mother”, Julia Bloomfield; grandmother, Shirley Odynski; numerous nieces & nephews. Ashley was predeceased by her common-law partner, Emroy Cardinal; father, Harvy Whitford; siblings, Rose Pruden, Kyle & Rocky; maternal grandfather, John Odynski; paternal grandparents, Percy & Gertrude (Howse). A Private Funeral Service will be held at Grace Gardens Funeral Chapel, St. Paul. Pastor Linda Burns will be officiating, with interment in Kikino Community Cemetery, Kikino.
