Obituary
On January 11, 2015 Mrs. Yvette Lafortune of St. Paul died peacefully at the age of 79, surrounded by her family. She is lovingly remembered by her children; Louis (Donna), Paul, Laura Barrington (Bryce), Albert (Sue), Pauline Graw, John (Michelle) & Joseph Jr. (Melinda); 9 grandchildren & 5 great-grandchildren; siblings, Germain (Irene) and Leo (Georgette).
She was predeceased by her husband, Joseph, in 2001; parents, Antelaus and Laura; & siblings, Rose Tremblay (Louis Aime), Henri (Georgette) & Denise Robinson (Maurice).
Yvette lived for her family, enjoying gardening, bingo, and cooking. Her strength of character was evident in everything she did. She enjoyed what she had and did not mourn what she had lost. Her spirit will be sorely missed.
A Prayer Service will be held on Monday, January 19 at 6:00 p.m. at Grace Garden Funeral Chapel, St. Paul. Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Tuesday, January 20 at 11:00 a.m. at St. Paul Cathedral, St. Paul. Reverend Father Gerard Gauthier will be the celebrant, with interment in St. Joseph’s Cemetery, St. Paul.

Condolences from myself and my family (Marguerite Lafortune (Roger)), we know she will be sadly missed by all who loved her.
