Obituary
On May 5, 2012 Mr. Bill Peechowe of Frog Lake passed away at the age of 80 years. He is survived by his special friend, Veronica Waskahat; 4 sons & 4 daughters, Rose Stanley, Freda Angus, Lorraine Stanley, Marvin Stanley, Kenny Meesto, Angie Meesto, Glen Cooke (Carmen Kahpooapit) & Bruce Patty; numerous step-children, grandchildren, great-grandchildren, great-great-grandchildren, nieces & nephews. He was predeceased by his parents, Joe & Nancy; 2 sisters, Isabelle Pitchow & Marie Rose Cross; 4 daughters, Hazel Bearboy, Doreen Meesto, Bridget Meesto & Denise Meesto; 2 sons, Brian Meesto & Larry Meesto. A Wake is being held on Monday & Tuesday, May 7 & 8 at Frog Lake Band Hall, Frog Lake. A Funeral Service will be held on Wednesday, May 9 at 11:00 a.m. at Frog Lake Band Hall, Frog Lake. I first met Bill at the Lee Park cattle sale where he worked for many years sorting sale cattle.Also we would meet at the onion Lake july first sports day, Over the years I have had many good Indian friends and Bill was one of them. My conselations to Bill’s family, I didnt know that he had been ill. Sincerely Bob Hougham.
