Obituary
On December 12, 2015, Mr. Wesley “Wes” Whitford of Ashmont passed away at the age of 87 years. He is survived by his 2 sons & 4 daughters, Bryon (Maryjane) Whitford of Carrot Creek, Fay Mountain (James Wild) of Cadomin, Alex Whitford (Tammy) of Edson, Twila Hutton (Tony Vanhee) of Ashmont, Melanie Seitz (Bill Weber) of Fort McMurray & Leah (Mitch) Vallee of Cadomin; 14 grandchildren; 15 great-grandchildren; sister, Ruth (Russell) Layti of North Battleford, SK; sister-in-law, Virginia Whitford of Fort McMurray; numerous nieces & nephews. He was predeceased by his parents, Allen & Velma Whitford; 2 sisters, Elizabeth & Alice; brother, Sidney. Funeral Service will be held on Friday, December 18 at 1:00 p.m. at Ashmont Legion, Ashmont. Reverend Marlene Britton-Walfall will be officiating, with interment in Ashmont Community Cemetery, Ashmont.
