Obituary
On May 20, 2022, Mr. Wayne John Salopree of St. Paul passed away surrounded by his family, at the U of A Hospital at 5:30 p.m., at the age of 51 years. Wayne leaves behind his loving mother, Dinah Beamer; father, Bruce Beamer; daughter, Hailey Salopree; brother, Whitney Salopree; sister, Viola “Ollie” Stevens; uncle, Stan (Maxine) Salopree; aunties, Mabel (Dale) Salopree & Josephine (Ron) Salopree; numerous friends & relatives in Northern Alberta. Wayne was predeceased by his grandparents, John Baptiste & Maryann Salopree, Garnet & Shirley Beamer; uncles, Paul Salopree & Frankie Salopree; aunt, Therese Salopree; and a long line of beautiful ancestors. Wayne loved construction work. He helped build many business buildings in St. Paul. He was fun loving & loved to laugh. He will be missed by all who knew him. A Funeral Service will be held on Friday, May 27 at 2:00 p.m. at Grace Gardens Funeral Chapel with Pastor Kelly Sibley officiating. Cremation to follow. My mom and I can not believe Wayne has died. We were friends and neighbor’s to Wayne, Ann and Hailey. So very sorry to hear he is gone to the big spirit world.
