Obituary
On May 5, 2013, Mr. Wayne Franklin Palmer of Vilna passed away at the age of 88 years. He is survived by 2 daughters, Lillian Palmer-DeGraff & Terry Palmer; 6 grandchildren; 2 great-granddaughters; & several other distant relatives. He was predeceased by a daughter, Connie Robins; & a son, Frank Wayne Palmer. A Memorial Service will be held on Saturday, May 11 at 10:00 a.m. at Mallaig Baptist Church, Mallaig, with Pastor Joe Massop officiating. The service will be followed by a gathering at the Mallaig Legion, Mallaig. Cremation will have taken place. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to a charity of one’s choice, Canadian Mental Health Association or Canadian Cancer Society c/o 5626 – 51 Street, St. Paul, AB T0A 3A1.
