Obituary
On December 6, 2018, Mr. Wayne Cardinal of Saddle Lake passed away at the age of 52 years. He is survived by his loving wife, Colleen; 2 daughters & 2 sons, Amanda (David) Simon, Telia, Avery (Robin Crowchild) & Layne (Jalisa Crowchild); 14 grandchildren; loving parents, Mariam Buffalo & Noah Cardinal; siblings, Clint, Vince, Jackie & Reggie; numerous nieces & nephews. Wayne was predeceased by his in-laws, Floyd & Marlene Steinhauer; uncle, Colin Buffalo; & grandparents, Edgar & Helen Buffalo, & Lloyd & Emma Cardinal. A Wake will be held on Monday, December 10 (leaving Grace Gardens at 12:00 p.m.) at Ayiwakes Cultural Centre, Saddle Lake. On Tuesday, December 11 a Pipe Ceremony will be held at Ayiwakes Cultural Centre at 8:00 a.m., followed by a Funeral Service at 11:00 a.m. Reverend Robert Wright will be officiating, with interment in United Church Cemetery, Saddle Lake.
