On May 25, 2020, Warren Shirt of Saddle Lake passed away at the age of 55 years. He is survived by his loving wife, Gloria Shirt; his sweetheart, Marcelia Marceau (niece); son, Willie Jim (Victory Cardinal) and his children, Willie Jr., Shayla, Athena, Richard & Saphire; daughter, Aleitha Jim and her children, Ariana & Shaylene; father, John Shirt; biological father, Jerry John; siblings, Marla Shirt, John Shirt, Janice Shirt, Larry Shawn Papin, Karen John, Karla John, Darren John, Kurt Dion, Jerry John Jr., Daniel John, Patricia John, Cecil Dion & Kaylene Dion; adopted brother, Paul McEvers; numerous grandchildren, nieces, nephews & cousins. Warren was predeceased by his mother, Flora Steinhauer; grandparents, William & Justine Steinhauer, Peter Shirt & Mary Shirt, Joe & Cecil John; siblings, Joe John Jr., Chris John, Lewis John, Koni John & baby Lawrence John. A Private Wake & Funeral Service will be held at Ayiwakes Cultural Centre, Saddle Lake. Pastor Walter Brertton will be officiating with interment in Sacred Heart Roman Catholic Cemetery, Saddle Lake.
