Grace Gardens Funeral Chapel Staff send our condolences to family and friends.

From: Jennifer Woodward
Relation: He was my uncle

You are all in our thoughts and prayers. Uncle Warren was so special to all of us in so many ways. Kind words, a perfectly timed phone call, always a smile, teasing the little ones or a good joke. His genuine caring and compassion for all made him stand out above the crowd. I know he will watch over all of his friends and family and make heaven a little brighter. Love Jen, Patrick and kids

From: Derek Kryzanowski
Relation: Co-worker, Friend

Warren and I worked together for over a decade beginning with Kissinger Petroleums and then Ranger Oil in the 80’s.

Warren was a good friend who always had a unique sense of humor and would pick up on what others would say or do, and then relate in the most comical of ways.

You knew when he was building up to sling a joke, because he would start to shift his weight from one foot to the other while a small smirk was forming on his face. I have adopted many of his lines as my own.

He taught me a lot about plant operating as well as hunting. Warren popped my cherry …..so to speak.. .in the moose hunting dept.

Warren held court in the coffee shop, and he and I spent many an hour there over the years. In fact, every time I returned to Glendon in the years since 1990, there were two things I could count on seeing when I turned onto Railway Avenue….the eternal flame of the torch,…. and Warren’s vehicle parked outside of the coffee shop.

Warren was a warm wonderful person who remains a positive influence in my life. My condolences go out to all of his family. I wish I could be there on Friday.

From: Leonard and Gwen Taralson
Relation: Friend

Our deepest sympathy to all the family and friends of Warren. Warren’s kindness shall never be forgotten by our family. When Warren would stop by for coffee on his morning visits to check on Ruby (my mom), it gave us peace, because we lived too far away. He was a good friend to her, and it meant a lot to us. Thankyou Warren. Rest in peace.

Relation: long time friend

We knew Warren for 45 years and he was a great friend. We talked to him almost every couple of months and when there was news from around the Glendon/Therien area he would always let us know. Warren and Ponty visited us in Sept of 2014 and we had a great time. He was so proud that he had quite smoking and was feeling great. Our condolences to all the family

From: Gene Hodinski
Relation: Friend and Coworker

Warren and I worked together for twenty plus years between Kissinger Petroleum and Ranger Oil. He was a pleasure to work with and an immediate friendship started. I will always remember Warren’s stories and jokes. He had this habit when being teased he would pull on his nose with a smirk on his face. He gave it and he also took it with a smile. The fishing trips, hunting in the fall and the coffee shop sessions were always something we enjoyed sharing. Then there is the long…cell phone calls to Whitehorse. How we could talk. Warren will not be forgotten. He gave us way to much to remember. My condolences to his entire family. My thoughts will be with you all on Friday.
