I am so sorry to hear of Wanda’s passing. She was always good for a laugh but also a challenge. Wanda taught me things over the years that I knew her and I truly enjoyed time with her family.

From: Debbie Dickeson
Relation: Family friend

My sincere and heartfelt condolences to the Quinney family. I always enjoyed visiting Frog Lake and especially to see Miss Wanda Jean. She always made me laugh and her smile was so infectious. My thoughts and prayers are with her family during this difficult time.

From: Sharon wager
Relation: I was her care giver

I will miss this beautiful soul. She had a big personality and loved to pretend she was sleeping when I would peek in on her. I can still see that cheerful face snuggled under her cover giggling at me. She will be missed.

From: Sharron Hill
Relation: Used to work in Wanda’s home as support staff

Sending my condolences to the family. I worked with Wanda for several years I always felt that we had connected in a special way. I cared about her she could always put me in a great mood whenever I saw her. I will miss her.

My deepest sympathies to Wanda Jean’s family. She was a member of the Dove Centre family for many, many years and was loved by all who knew her. She graced us with her big smile and her infectious laughter every day. Along with her work in the Bottle Depot, she made plastic flowers for many years. Most of the flowers that adorned wedding cars in the Bonnyville area were lovingly made by Wanda. My fondest memory of her was when she would sit at the front of the Dove Centre making her flowers and greeting everyone who came into the building with a great big smile, a handshake, and a “what’s your name”. She was always quick to give out a compliment and had a hearty laugh for all. Her absence in our daily lives will be felt deeply and profoundly. She was a light here on earth and she will be missed. Rest easy Wanda Jean.

Relation: Worked with her as a care aid.

I worked with Wanda for 13 years, as her care aid. I enjoyed my times with her, she always put a big smile on my face when i would see her. Even after i left the home, I stopped in to see Wanda, when she was sitting outside enjoying the sun.. she ran over to my car and got into the front seat and said she was going on a trip.. we had a great laugh.. I will miss her soo much.. and she will always have a special place in my heart.. RIP my girl… till we meet again…
