Deepest condolences to the family of Walter (Wally). Wally and I were troop mates in the RCMP Training Academy 45 years ago, and I have been trying to reach him, as we are planning a 45 year reunion next year. I remember him fondly from training, and he will be missed at our reunion. Again Deepest condolences.
From: Gerry Hoyland
Relation: Wally and I trained together in the RCMP in 1977-1978. We crossed paths many times since then having both served on various Detachments in K Division(Alberta). I also had the honour of working with Wally’s brother Russ.
It was with great sadness that I read over Wally’s obituary today. My condolences to Wally’s family and many friends. He is in a far better place now than he has ever been. Rest In Peace Fonzie Bear.

Wally,
You were a great man and dear friend to our family.
As a man, you offered so much and expected little in return. You tried to lead a simple life but your health issues did not allow for that.
You showed perseverance and resilience but then your fight for life flickered as your quality of life declined.
I wish you much peace not only for your body but in your heart as well.
Thank you always for the reason I am next to your lifelong friend Rick since the fishing trip! I sure will miss your greeting, “Hey Mrs!” with your iconic grin! Rick will forever miss your friendship and the boys claimed you as an honourable Uncle.
You will be dearly missed.
Rest In Peace
Cynthia & Rick, Brent, Nathan
