On December 6, 2021, Mr. Walter Pasquayak of Saddle Lake passed away at the age of 77 years. He is survived by his wife, Hilda (nee Blackstar); 3 daughters & 1 son, Dallas Cardinal, Brandon (Mary), Kaylee & Barbara; step-son, Sheldon Blackstar; siblings, Michel, Edna Jackson, Peter, Elizabeth Cardinal & Judy; numerous nieces, nephews, cousins & friends. Mr. Pasquayak was predeceased by his son, Dwayne; step-daughter, Alana Blackstar; step-son, Shawn Swiftwolfe; step- granddaughters, Shania & Kaydence Blackstar; parents, Joe & Annie; siblings, Simon Prosper, Louie, Helen, Jonas, Douglas John, Robert, Barbara Ann, Anna Marie, Esther Lydia, Linda & Eugene Henry; sisters- & brothers-in-law, Mary, James Jackson Sr., Willard Jackson, David H. Cardinal & Clayton Nadeau; maternal grandparents, Bella & Joshua Shirt; paternal grandparents, Johnny & Edith; parents-in-law, Norman & Eliza Blackstar. A Private Wake & Funeral will be held at Walter’s Residence, Saddle Lake with interment in Sacred Heart Roman Catholic Cemetery, Saddle Lake. Relation: I am a teacher of his grandchildren and have met Walter a few times at other gatherings.
I am sorry to hear about the passing of Walter. He was a good person and a fantastic role model to the many younger people in his life. Our conversations were always positive and it was obvious to me that he cared about people a great deal. Rest in peace Walter.
