Obituary

On September 15, 2017, Mr. Walter Kotowich of St. Paul passed away at the age of 86 years. Walter is survived by his loving wife of 61 years, Cecile; 3 sons & 5 daughters, Marcel, Louise Hicks, Diane (Wendell) Young, Mariette (Brent) Blower, Irene, Allan (Rita), Joanne (Dierdre McLean) & Brian (Pauline); 21 grandchildren; 11 great-grandchildren; 2 sisters, Josie Carrier & Annie Noel; sister-in-law, Eva Kotowich; brother-in-law, Metro Worobec; numerous nieces & nephews. Walter was predeceased by his parents, Wladyslaw & Aneila Kotowich; brother, Frank Kotowich; & sister, Rosie Worobec. A Prayer Service will be held on Wednesday, September 20 at 7:30 p.m. at St. Paul Cathedral, St. Paul. Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Thursday, September 21 at 10:30 a.m. at St. Paul Cathedral, St. Paul. Reverend Father Gerard Gauthier will be the celebrant, with interment in St. Joseph’s Cemetery, St. Paul. If desired, donations may be made to Canadian Diabetes Association, Alberta Heart & Stroke Foundation, or a charity of one’s choice, c/o 5626 – 51 Street, St. Paul, AB T0A 3A1.
