Obituary
On March 7, 2016, Mr. Victor Lafreniere of St. Paul, formerly of Lafond, passed away at the age of 87 years. He is survived by his loving wife of 62 years, Juliette; children, Lilliane (Mel) Rudyk of Sherwood Park, Denis (Chris) of Thorhild, Delina Merrifield (Glen Fox) of Edmonton, Alice (Darrell) Ross of Beaumont, Viviane Ponto (Ken McDowell) of Edmonton, Carmen (Ed) Krevenky of Provost & Eric (Estelle) of Lafond; 21 grandchildren; 11 great-grandchildren; daughter-in-law, Paulette of Edmonton & sister-in-law, Yvonne of St. Paul. He was predeceased by his parents, Achille & Rachelle; father- & mother-in-law, Arthur & Marie Foisy; brothers, Raymond & Roger; & son, Guy. A Visitation of Family & Friends will be held on Friday, March 11 at 7:00 p.m. at Grace Gardens Funeral Chapel, St. Paul. Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Saturday, March 12 at 10:00 a.m. at St. Paul Cathedral, St. Paul. Reverend Father Gerard Gauthier will be the celebrant, with interment in St. Joseph’s Cemetery, St. Paul.
