Obituary
On June 8, 2018, Mrs. Vera Half of Saddle Lake, passed away at the age of 60 years. She is survived by her loving husband of 48 years, Lester; 2 sons, Leroy (Candace) & John; 2 daughters, Melissa (Reggie Steinhauer) & Suzette; 7 grandchildren, Judith, Jessica, Marlee, Lindsay, Jesse, Everett & River; 3 great-grandchildren, Draven, Julianna, Kellen; Baby Silva; goddaughter, Nina; mother, Annie Matoosk; siblings, Julia Cryer (Alvin), Florence Cryer, Mary Louise (Thomas) McCarthy, Eliza Moosewah, Julia Moosewah, Ernest Moosewah, Charlie Moosewah, William Moosewah & Raymond Moosewah; numerous nieces & nephews. Vera was predeceased by her father, Ernest Moosewah; daughter, Kayla; granddaughter, Allisa; brothers, David Cryer & Percy Moosewah; maternal grandparents, David & Stella (nee Sunday) Matoosk; paternal grandparents, Baptise & Christine Moosewah. A Wake will be held on Tuesday (leaving Grace Gardens at 2:30 p.m.) & Wednesday, June 12 & 13 at Ayiwakes Cultural Centre, Saddle Lake. Funeral Service will be held on Thursday, June 14 at 11:00 a.m. at Ayiwakes Cultural Centre, Saddle Lake.
