Obituary
On January 11, 2014, Mr. Tom Shirt of Vilna passed away at the age of 62 years. He is survived by his loving companion (wife), Debbie Wilk; 2 sons, Alvin Vernon Gladue & Michael (Christie Cardinal) Gladue all of Saddle Lake; 8 grandchildren; half-brother, Ted Jones of Calgary; numerous nieces & nephews. He was predeceased by his daughter, Diane Gladue; great-grandson, Greyson Cardinal; 2 brothers, Sam Shirt & Edward Shirt; sister, Gale Jones; parents, Henry & Millie; first wife, Verna. A Wake will be held on Thursday & Friday, January 16 & 17 at Ayiwakes Cultural Centre, Saddle Lake. A Funeral Service will be held on Saturday, January 18 at 11:00 a.m. at Ayiwakes Cultural Centre, Saddle Lake. Reverend Robert Wright will be officiating, with interment in Sacred Heart Roman Catholic Cemetery, Saddle Lake. To send condolences online, please visit www.gracegardensfuneralchapel.com.
