Obituary
On July 15, 2014, Mrs. Tillie Leroux of St. Paul passed away at the age of 90 years. She is survived by 1 son & 5 daughters: Louise Kurash of Clandonald, Denis (Janis) Leroux of St. Paul, Marie (Ron) Snell of Regina, SK, Mona McKinnon of Edmonton, Elaine Leroux of St. Paul & Nicole (Fred) Rapati of Warburg; 12 grandchildren; 16 great-grandchildren; sister, Mary Hammond; brother, Mike (Gerry) Sharun; numerous nieces & nephews. She was predeceased by her husband, Emile; parents, Wasyl & Katyryna; sister, Ann Rault; brother, Dan Sharun; sons-in-law, Alex Kurash & Jim McKinnon; grandson-in-law, Sean Bradley. Viewing will be held on Saturday, July 19 from 9:30 a.m.-10:15 a.m. at St. Paul Cathedral, St. Paul. Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Saturday, July 19 at 10:30 a.m. at St. Paul Cathedral, St. Paul. Reverend Father Gerard Gauthier will be officiating, with interment in St. Joseph’s Cemetery, St. Paul. My concolences on the passing of your precious mother, grandmother Tillie. She was a part of our family’s life forever including a period of time where I had the opportunity to work with her for several years. We were a team. I know that she was a terrific mother, wife and friend and her passing leaves me with a heavy heart. I feel lucky to have many happy memories to take out and look back on because she was a part of my life. Thoughts, prayers and hugs to all the family.

I am saddened by the loss of this lovely lady whom I remember since I was little. Marc and I jokingly called Tillie “Dad’s other wife” because she knew where everything was in the dental clinic and most often had to let Dad (Louis Mandin) know where they were. She assisted the dental practice with professionalism and grace.
The last time I saw Tillie was at Dad’s funeral last year (June 2013)–I was deeply moved by her reaction to the powerpoint photos of his life–they rekindled fond memories for her too as she was so much a part of it all.
My thoughts and condolences go out to the family at this sad time. May warm, happy memories replace the sadness over time. She will always be a part of you.
