Obituary
On June 15, 2019 Mrs. Theresa Lucille Cardinal of Saddle Lake passed away at the age of 88 years. She is survived by her children, Mary Cardinal- Collins, Ilene Nepoose, Denise (Mike) Steinhauer, Nora (Eric) Cardinal, Linda Cardinal, Brian (Kathy) Cardinal, Debra Cardinal, Dolly Cardinal & Roxanne Cutknife; adopted children, Louise Large, Louis Moosewah & Armand Cardinal; 6 grandchildren that she raised, Sheldon (Roberta), Benita (Greg), Reanna (Gullion), Sherisse (Jordy), Naomi & Steven; numerous grandchildren, great-grandchildren & great-great-grandchildren; sister, Min Butcher; numerous nieces & nephews; and her beloved dog, Acimosis. Mrs. Cardinal was predeceased by her husband, Peter Cardinal Jr.; daughter, Lorraine Cardinal; sons, Leon & Herbert Cardinal; son-in-law, Jeff Cutknife; grandsons, Michael R. Cardinal & Darwin Jackson; brother, Walter Makokis; sister, Matilda Favel. A Wake will be held on Tuesday (leaving Grace Gardens at 1:00 p.m.) & Wednesday, June 18 & 19 at Ayiwakes Cultural Centre, Saddle Lake. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Thursday, June 20 at 11:00 a.m. at Ayiwakes Cultural Centre, Saddle Lake. Reverend Father Raldy Jhack Diaz will be the celebrant with interment in Sacred Heart Roman Catholic Cemetery, Saddle Lake. To send condolences online, please visit www.gracegardensfuneralchapel.com.
