Obituary
On November 27, 2015, Theresa Gadwa of Kehewin passed away at the age of 95 years. She is survived by her loving children, Margaret Keewatin of Okanese, SK., Louise Gadwa (Don MacInnis) of Edmonton, Leona Gadwa (Gabe Cardinal) of Kehewin, Pauline Gadwa (William Dumais) of Bonnyville, Judy (Brian) Youngchief of Kehewin, Leo (Valerie) Gadwa of Lloydminster, Donna Gadwa of Elk Point, Ricky Gadwa of Bonnyville & Ivan (Barb) Gadwa of Kehewin; 4 adopted children; 40 grandchildren; 63 great-grandchildren; 12 great-great-grandchildren; sister, Victoria Brighteyes of Saddle Lake; numerous nieces & nephews. She was predeceased by her husband, Henry; children, Marc Peter, Irene, Johnny & Wayne; 2 sisters, Bernadette Steinhauer & Rita Brighteyes; brother, Pierre Pasquayak. A Wake will be held on Tuesday & Wednesday, December 1 & 2 at Kehewin School Gymnasium, Kehewin. Funeral Service will be held on Thursday, December 3 at 11:00 a.m. at Kehewin School Gymnasium with interment in Our Lady of Mercy Roman Catholic Cemetery, Kehewin. We have been away and just now heard from Ian & Pat that Theresa has passed away. It was a privilege and an honour to work with Theresa over the years. Her wisdom lives on in the education system she worked so hard to create. Our sympathies go out to the family.
