Dear Arlene and Cara,
Our condolences on the passing of your husband Ted. He is recalled as a jovial person and was your great mate in Yellowknife where you all moved. If you get back to Edmonton, please drop me a line. Your friends in Alpha Chapter would love to see you at meetings again. Alice Halvorsen

From: JAMES POSYNICK
Relation: Friend for more than 35 years

I met Ted in 1981 when he was operating the Sportsman. I was a frequent visitor to the shop to buy fishing gear for myself and, later, my young son. Ted was always in good spirits and helpful, especially when my son came with me. He smiled when young Jon clambered onto the sleds in his shop or asked about the colorful lures. He became our go-to guy for fishing and sledding equipment. In later years I worked with and for Ted in my professional capacity. I learned he was a very capable businessman and a loving family man. He liked a good joke and his smile was a tonic! My son and I offer our condolences to the Yaceyko family. He is missed.
