Obituary
On July 1, 2019 Mr. Theodore “Ted” John Yaceyko of Yellowknife passed away at the age of 78 years. He is survived by his loving wife, Arlene (née Ash); son, John Dale Yaceyko; daughter, Cordi Lee Yaceyko (Richard Deutschmann); stepdaughter, Cara Humphries; sisters, Phyllis (Ron) Whittaker & Claire Lauro (Peter Prysiazniuk); brother, Bill Yaceyko (Jane Walker); 7 grandchildren, Evan Froment, Eric Froment, Jordan Yaceyko, Cerah Yaceyko, Ayden Harvey, Jaida Deutschmann & Zhaylinn Humphries; 2 great-grandchildren, Tyler Lamalice & Revan Yaceyko; many nephews, nieces, uncles, aunts, cousins, friends & 4500 close relatives. Ted was predeceased by his father & mother, John & Helen Yaceyko. Divine Liturgy & Funeral Service will be held on Monday, July 8 at 11:00 a.m. at Holy Eucharist Ukrainian Catholic Church, 13249 Township Road 584, Stry, with Very Reverend Father Don Bodnar officiating. Interment will follow in the church cemetery. A Memorial Service will take place in Yellowknife at a later date. If desired, donations may be made to Holy Eucharist Ukrainian Catholic Church, Stry c/o 5626 – 51 Street, St. Paul, AB T0A 3A1.
