Obituary
On April 4th, 2021, Thelma Smart (Harpe) passed away peacefully in Lac La Biche at the age of 71 years. She will be deeply missed by her husband, Brian; son, Ernie (Lana); daughter, Dana; step-daughter, Tammy (Matt) & Sheila; step-grandchildren, Fallon & Gabriel; brothers, David (Judy), Joe, Henry & Albert; sister, Leona (Ray); numerous nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. Thelma was predeceased by her parents, Edward & Olivine; brothers, Arthur, Fred, Emile, Roland & August; sisters, Yvonne, Marianne & Annette.
Thelma had a big heart and a lot of passion. She would be the first to congratulate or cheer one on. She showed that too, especially when it came to the sports that she loved. That big heart opened up into the community as she often baked and cooked for the homeless. She was a very brave, strong lady but sadly the one fight she didn’t win was to Cancer.
