With heavy hearts the family of Sylvia Katherine Bodnar of St. Paul, Alberta announces her peaceful passing surrounded by her family on Sunday, August 27, 2023. Sylvia will be lovingly remembered by her husband, Ron; children, Marshall (Cindy) & Cindy (Dave Godin); grandchildren, Derek, Michael, Brian, Christopher, Lawrence, Elsie, Harry & Elliot; mother, Kay Galas; siblings, Russ (Jeaneen), Gladys (Larry Peters), Cheryl (Ron Rezewski) & Sandy (Tim Slevinsky); nieces & nephews as well as numerous relatives & friends. Sylvia was predeceased by her father, Harry; grandparents, Alex & Helen Wanchuk, Andrew & Mary Galas. Sylvia’s family is proud of her strength, courage & resolution in fighting this battle on her own terms. A private family funeral has been held.
