Obituary
On January 29, 2016, Mr. Steve Kwasnycia of St. Paul, formerly of Spedden, passed away at the age of 91 years. He is survived by his loving children, Ron (Pat) Kwasnycia of Edmonton, Tamarah (Garth) Olson of Abbotsford, B.C., Pat Kostrub & Paul Kwasnycia both of St. Paul, Nadine (Peter) Chimko & Shirley (Joe) Serafinchon both of Edmonton & Karen (Angus) Grant of St. Paul; 12 grandchildren; 9 great-grandchildren; sister, Mary (John) Malayko of Hairy Hill; sister-in-law, Sophie Kwasnycia of Edmonton; numerous nieces & nephews. He was predeceased by his wife, Anna; parents, Harry & Barbara; 2 brothers, Paul & William; 2 sisters, Anne Gluwchynski & Haffie Melnychuk; 2 sons-in-law, Kenneth Mazur & Andrew Kostrub. Funeral Service will be held on Friday, February 5 at 10:00 a.m. at Grace Gardens Funeral Chapel, St. Paul. Reverend Father Peter Haugen will be officiating with interment in Union Cemetery, St. Paul. If desired, donations may be made to Haying in the 30's (Cancer Support Society) c/o 5626 – 51 Street, St. Paul, AB T0A 3A1.
