Relation: Friend and colleague
Our sincere condolences to Marie-Ange, Laurie, Darwin, their children , and the Krankowsky family. Steve was a good friend and accomplished colleague. It was always a pleasure to visit with him and discuss world politics. As a social studies teacher, his views were always balanced and reasonable. He was a good athlete and his fastball pitching was beyond compare. He loved fishing; especially ice fishing, and was good at it.
Steve’s passing leaves a large, hollow space in our hearts. May he rest in peace. He has earned a restful repose.

Dear Marie-Ange, Lorraine, Ray and Linda, Deanna, and the entire Krankowsky family,
I am deeply saddened to hear of Steve’s passing. He was more than just a teacher to me; he truly inspired me and shaped my path to become a teacher myself, in profound ways. Steve’s passion and kindness left a lasting impression on so many of his students, myself included. I am grateful for the wisdom, guidance, and encouragement to succeed he shared with us all. Please know that he will be remembered fondly and missed deeply. My thoughts and prayers are with all of you during this difficult time.
With heartfelt sympathy,
Anita Burrill (nee Tkachyk)
