Obituary
On April 28, 2017 Mrs. Stephanie Zalaski of St. Paul passed away at the age of 91 years. She is survived by her 3 sons, Alan (Karen), Darwin (Jessica) & Dale (Sharol); 9 grandchildren, Kelsea, Ryan, Jeffrey, Jared, Janelle, Jocelyne, Lauren, Rebecca & Sam; 2 sisters, Elizabeth Hasiuk & Rose (Johnny) Krankowsky; numerous nieces & nephews. She was predeceased by her husband, John; parents, Steve & Grace Proskiw; 3 brothers, John (Mary), Willie (Phyllis) & Lawrence. A Funeral Service will be held on Wednesday, May 3 at 11:00 a.m. at All Saints Ukrainian Cultural Centre, St. Paul. Condolences to all the family. Stephanie and I were across the hall neighbours at GA for many years. She took me under her wing when I started teaching there in 1977. I gave her a hard time about how she spoiled her boys, cooking, doing laundry and just generally racing home on Friday after school to prepare supper for the U of A students on their way home.
