On November 2, 2012, Mrs. Stephanie Starosielski passed away at the age of 98 years. She is survived by 1 son & 2 daughters, Emily Sedor (Steve Shasko) of St. Paul, Lawrence of Edmonton & Linda Scott (Leonard Senecal) of St. Paul; 9 grandchildren; 10 great-grandchildren; 3 great-great-grandchildren; 2 sisters, Helen of Vegreville & Audrey Mikitow of Kelowna, B.C.; numerous nieces & nephews. She was predeceased by her husband, Nick; son, Carl; parents, Mary & Joseph; 4 brothers & 9 sisters. A Funeral Service will be held on Thursday, November 8 at 12:00 p.m. at Grace Gardens Funeral Chapel, St. Paul with interment in Rocky Valley Ukrainian Orthodox Cemetery, Flat Lake. Emily, Linda and family I am very sorry for your loss and give you my deepest sympathy. I remember your mom from when I worked at The Kutting Edge. There are many clients that I miss, however, there are a few that stand out, your mom was one of them. She was always so spunky and feisty and always made us smile. Emily..We are so sorry to hear of the loss of your mother.Although I didn’t see her often, she always brought a smile to my face. I remember running into her a few years ago in the Co-Op..buying cabbage.”She stopped and said ” let me pick out your cabbage, I’m an expert” She felt all the cabbage and told me about her days of canning.She still had a lot of “spunk” and was so much fun to talk to.What wonderful memories she has left all of your family with.

Emily, my deepest condolences to you and your family. I feel so blessed and honored to have gotten to know my Aunt Stephanie. My only wish was that I could have gotten to know her sooner in life. Although I have only known her for the past 5 years she will always be remembered with great fondness and laughter. She was one of a kind and will be missed by all who knew her. RIP sweet lady.
