Obituary
It is with heavy hearts that we lay to rest our Dear Wife, Mother, Sister, Grandmother, Great-Grandmother and Friend to so many, Sonia Elizabeth Onyschuk, born to loving parents, Arne & Klara Bjorneskaret on August 7, 1944. Left to mourn are her loving and caring family & friends. Sonia is survived by her husband, Nick Onyschuk; daughter, Vivian (Leo) Dakin; son, Dwayne (Kelly) Onyschuk; her grandchildren, Klara (Mike) Bilodeau, Leslie (Lance) Dakin & Brian Dakin, Kalvin (Nelle) Lock & Kyle Lock; her great-grandchildren, Logan & Cienna Dickau, Austin Bilodeau & Mason Lock; beloved sister, Gunhild Nelson; nieces, Sheila Parks, Vickie (Rob) Hickey & Elaine Bartee; nephews, Arne Nelson & Arne B; her lifelong best friend, Edna Tymchuk; many extended family & friends. Predeceased are her parents, Arne & Klara Bjorneskaret; brother, Alfred; sister, Agnes Bartee; nephew, James Bartee; & niece, Rita Bjorneskaret. Sonia’s Celebration of Life will be held on Saturday, September 30 at 1:00 p.m. at Grace Gardens Funeral Chapel, St. Paul with Pastor Will Gill officiating.
