Obituary
On August 24, 2015, Mrs. Simone Blouin of St. Paul passed away at the age of 99 years. She is survived by 3 sons & 4 daughters, Bert (Carole) Blouin, Harvey Blouin, John (Laurie) Blouin, Lorraine (Gerard) Badry, Georgette (Alphonse) Corbiere, Helene (Walter) Parent & Yolande (Ron) Stark; 25 grandchildren; 34 great-grandchildren; 3 great-great-grandchildren; sister, Gabrielle (Aimé) Foisy; numerous nieces & nephews. She was predeceased by her husband, Paul; son, Louis; 3 brothers, Leopold, Roland & Marcel Bergeron; sister, Gertrude Lafrance. Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Saturday, August 29 at 1:00 p.m. at St. Paul Cathedral, St. Paul. Reverend Father Gerard Gauthier will be the celebrant, with interment in St. Joseph’s Cemetery, St. Paul. If desired, donations may be made to Haying in the 30's (Cancer Support Society) c/o 5626 – 51 Street, St. Paul, AB T0A 3A1. Auntie Simone looked after us when Mom and Dad were away. We were quite young but still remember her fondly. We loved her dearly. She had a heart of gold. My condolence to the family. I am sure she is having coffee with mom in heaven right now.
