On February 18, 2013, Mrs. Simone Bergeron of St. Paul passed away at the age of 94 years. She is survived by 4 sons & 4 daughters, Helena (Andy) Ouelette of St. Paul, Rachelle (Bruce) Byer of Edmonton, Florence Winchester of Moncton, New Brunswick, Michel of St. Paul, Germain of St. Paul, Daniel (friend Cecilia) of Mannville, Gerard (Cecile) of St. Paul & Dolores (Darrin) Kirk of Sherwood Park; daughter-in-law, Darlene; 27 grandchildren; 27 great-grandchildren; 2 sisters, Jeanne Lepine & Solange Bader; sister-in-law, Genny Couillard; numerous nieces & nephews. She was predeceased by her loving husband, Leopold Henri Bergeron; parents, Philippe & Marie Louise Couillard; son, Henri; son-in-law, Doug Winchester; 2 brothers, Raymond (Carrie) & Fernand; sister, Emma (Ernest) Tremblay, brothers-in-law, Marvin Bader & Euclid Lepine. Prayer Service Friday, February 22 at 7:30 p.m. at St. Paul’s Cathedral, St. Paul. Mass of Christian Burial Saturday, February 23 at 10:30 a.m. at St. Paul’s Cathedral, St. Paul. Reverend Father Gerard Gauthier & Reverend Father Gilbert Dasna will be the celebrants, with interment in St. Joseph’s Cemetery, St. Paul. If desired, donations may be made to Alberta Heart & Stroke Foundation c/o 5626 – 51 Street, St. Paul, AB T0A 3A1.

Relation: In my youth I dated one of her sons and visited her in St. Paul . She was a wonderful woman and a good mother to her large family.
