Obituary
On October 8, 2014, Mr. Shawn Cardinal of Saddle Lake passed away at the age of 27 years. He is survived by his loving mother, Candace (Brent Tychkowsky); loving father, Darrell (Eliza) Cardinal; sister, Cearra Tychkowsky; 3 brothers, Dylan Delorme, Anthony Cardinal & Clint Beachstone; step-brother, Kenny Cardinal; step-sister, Tashina Cardinal; grandparents, Rena Cardinal & Leonard Cardinal; numerous aunts, uncles & cousins. He was predeceased by his sister, Caitlan Cardinal; grandparents, Edward Gauthier & Charlotte Cardinal; cousins, Jade Favel & Brittany Favel; uncles, Kenneth Cardinal & Gerald Cardinal. A Wake will be held on Sunday & Monday, October 12 & 13 at Ayiwakes Cultural Centre, Saddle Lake. A Funeral Service will be held on Tuesday, October 14 at 10:00 a.m. at Ayiwakes Cultural Centre, Saddle Lake. My dear Rena, Candace, and family: I am so sorry to hear about your baby boy — I well remember how he used to always come to Kihew Asiniy and visit his kokom and hang around her — he knew where he was loved.
