Obituary
On December 3, 2019, Roy Dumais of Goodfish Lake passed away at the age of 62 years. He is survived by his loving wife, Harriet Favel; children, Raymond (Trisha), Peter, Angie, Travis, Alicia (Liam), Marcia, Ryan (Penny) & Matthew; 25 grandchildren; 3 great-grandchildren; siblings, Kathleen (Raymond), Mavis, Lena (Lorne), Lola (Colin), Danny (Phyllis), Johnny (Lianne), Irene, Mary, Patricia (Andrew), Peter (Sharon), Travis (Esther), Fabian, Archie (Amy), Mavis & Sally (Carter); traditionally adopted sisters, Rosalie Houle, Marjorie White, Inez Jackson, Patty Houle, Janet Hunter & Delia Whitford; brothers- & sisters-in-law, Raymond (Rosalie), Colin (Lola) & Olive (Joe); special great-granddaughter, Crystal; special niece, Baby girl, Olivia; special auntie, Barb; 4 aunties, Louise, Gladys, Cecile & Theresa; 2 uncles, Alvin & George; numerous nieces & nephews. Roy was predeceased by his parents, Angus (Theresa) Wright & Elizabeth Dumais; daughter, Crystal Dumais-Favel; sisters, Gloria & Sandra; adopted mom, Edith Memnook. A Wake will be held on Tuesday (leaving Grace Gardens at 2:00 p.m.), December 10 & 11, at Goodfish Lake Cultural Centre, Goodfish Lake. Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Thursday, December 12 at 11:00 a.m. at Goodfish Lake Cultural Centre, Goodfish Lake. My deepest Condolences to Roy’s Family and Friend. Roy was an amazing man who had a deep love for his family. I used to get to chat with him when he came to the school for the kids. He had a wonderful sense of humor and I wie shared much laughter.
