Obituary
On August 3, 2017, Mrs. Rose Wychopen of St. Paul passed away at the age of 89 years. She is survived by her son, William (Marie) of St. Paul; 3 grandchildren, Steve (Diane) & their children, Brittney, Katelynn & William, Susan (Rob) Landiak & their children, Jordan, Alyssia & Chelsey, Leanne (Dean) Claude & their children, Megan, Courtney & Colton; sister, Lucy Gorovenko; 2 brothers, George & Steve Morie; numerous nieces & nephews. She was predeceased by her husband, Steve; parents, Metro & Eugenia Morie; 3 sisters, Sophie Gould, Ruth Hupalo & Nancy Selezinka; 2 brothers, Bill (Nina) Morie & Sam (Helen) Morie; brother-in-law, Jack Gorovenko. A Funeral Service will be held on Tuesday, August 8 at 1:00 p.m. at Grace Gardens Funeral Chapel, St. Paul. Reverend Father Mark Sych & Reverend Father Bill Hupalo will be officiating, with interment in Protection of the Blessed Virgin Mary Ukrainian Catholic Cemetery, St. Paul. I was so sad to hear of Rose’s passing last night. I will always remember her visits and her wonderful welcomes anytime I dropped by her home, even when it was unexpected. I will also always miss the days of the choir.
