Obituary
On July 30, 2019 Rose McKay-Dion of Fox Creek passed away at the age of 28 years. She is survived by her loving children, Landon & Keyan (his father, Cory John); parents, Geraldine Dion & James McKay; sister, Jennifer (Alex Nielson) & children Thomas & Olivia Lanktree; brother, Brandon; half-sister, Crystal Lynn Leclercq & children, Deven, Jayla & Keira; numerous relatives, uncles & aunties. Rose was predeceased by her grandparents, Peter & Victoria Dion, Alfred John & Helen McKay; brother, Cleo McKay-Dion; & Landon’s father, Christopher L. Cardinal. A Wake will be held on Sunday (leaving Grace Gardens at 2:00 p.m.) & Monday, August 4 & 5 at Elementary School Gym, Kehewin. A Funeral Service will be held on Tuesday, August 6 at 11:00 a.m. at Elementary School Gym, Kehewin. I had the privilege of meeting this beautiful smart young lady when she first came to fox creek school. I then got to work with her son Keyan last year in grade two.
