LAKUSTA, Rose
On September 28, 2017, Mrs. Rose Lakusta of St. Paul passed away at the age of 89 years. She is survived by her son, Jim (Marge) Lakusta; daughter, Marie (Luke) Audette; 5 grandchildren, Cherie Lakusta, Andrea (Russell) Martin, Tara Lafortune, Danielle (Travis) Kabyn & Marc (Kristyn) Audette; 9 great-grandchildren, Mackenzie Rose, Dylan & Danielle Martin, Tory Shtybel, Drake, Emersyn & Mason Kabyn, Gavin & Samuel Audette; siblings, John Snihur, Elsie Motowylo & Andy Snihur; 5 sisters-in-law, Stefania, Almeda & Jean Chrapko, Rita & Leona Snihur. She was predeceased by her husband, John; parents, William & Mary; 7 brothers, Mike, Nick & Eddy Snihur, Bill, George, Peter & Silver Chrapko; sister, Anne (Alex) Werenka; 2 sisters-in-law, Anne Snihur & Mary Chrapko. A Prayer Service will be held on Thursday, October 5 at 7:30 p.m. at Grace Gardens Funeral Chapel, St. Paul. Funeral Service will be held on Friday, October 6 at 10:30 a.m. at All Saints Ukrainian Orthodox Church, St. Paul. Reverend Father Peter Haugen will be officiating, with interment in Union Cemetery, St. Paul. If desired, donations may be made to Haying in the 30’s (Cancer Support Society) c/o 5626 – 51 Street, St. Paul, AB T0A 3A1.
