Obituary

On August 21, 2021, Mrs. Rose Burzminski of Newbrook passed away at the age of 84 years. She leaves to mourn, her common-law husband of 40 years, Henry Vidito; numerous nieces, nephews, great-nieces & -nephews & great-great-nieces & -nephews. Mrs. Burzminski was predeceased by her husband, Tony; parents, Andrew & Pelegia Marko; 2 sisters, Mary & Anne; 3 brothers, Fred, Andrew & John; niece, Rosemarie Marko; 3 nephews, Russell, Terry & Bill Marko. A Funeral Service will be held on Monday, August 30 at 1:00 p.m. at Newbrook Community Hall, Newbrook. Reverend Father Peter Haugen will be officiating with interment in Newbrook Community Cemetery, Newbrook. If desired, donations may be made to Heart & Stroke Foundation or charity of one’s choice c/o 5626-51 Street, St. Paul, Alberta T0A 3A1. When I was a little girl Rose used to haul our cattle to Edmonton to sell and my mom would sometimes go with her to do some shopping. Each time she went she would take one of us girls with her so that how I first met Rose on one of my trips to Edmonton with my mom. It was a very special memory. I have known Rose all of my life as I grew up in the Newbrook area. My deepest sympathy to Rose’s family . She was a great person.
