Obituary
On March 23, 2018, Mr. Rodney Dale McGilvery of Saddle Lake passed away at the age of 48 years. He is survived by his loving wife of 29 years, Adele; children, Cheyanne (Clintton Large), Rodney Jr. (Sarah Brertton), Timothy (Fern Ward), Randall, Shanna, Shannay, Bryce & Stacey Dion (Shawnee-Dawn Courtoreille); Godchildren, Heather Cardinal, Denise Cardinal, Maryanne McGilvery & Chantel Prairie-Chicken; grandchildren, Daphne McGilvery-Large, Daryan Large, Dayton McGilvery, Arianna & Rodney Cardinal McGilvery, Serayia, Destine, Geoson & Serenity Brertton-McGilvery, Grayson Papin-McGilvery & Kaidyn White; sister , Berdine Eliza McGilvery; numerous brothers & sisters-in-law, uncles, aunts, cousins & friends. Rodney was predeceased by his son, Nathan Lloyd Jackson; grandson, Tristan Dion; mother, Margaret-Rose McGilvery; father, James Albert Houle; brother, Jimmy Whitford; uncle, Hector McGilvery; aunt, Bella McGilvery; maternal grandparents, Louie & Emma McGilvery; paternal grandparents, George & Evelyn Houle; father & mother-in-law, John & Mary Wanuch. A Wake will be held on Thursday (leaving Grace Gardens at 2:00 p.m.) & Friday, March 29 & 30 at Ayiwakes Cultural Centre, Saddle Lake. Funeral Service will be held on Saturday, March 31 at 11:00 a.m. at Ayiwakes Cultural Centre, Saddle Lake.
