Obituary
It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Rodney Garry Langdone of Wetaskiwin on March 25, 2014. Rodney passed away at the U of A Hospital at the age of 54 years. He will be sadly missed by his spouse, Audrey Houle; his children, Ashlee Langdone, Tammy (Curtis) Hebert, Bradley Langdone (Rochelle) & Adam Langdone (Katharina); step-children, Ryan (Lil) Houle, Aaron Houle & Sherry Vandal-Houle; 22 grandchildren; his mother, Julia; mother-in-law, Edna Houle; sisters, Betty (Fred) Burak, Linda (Guy) Routhier, Judy Caron (Paul) & Debbie Young; brothers, Ken (Tammy) & Randy (Donna). Uncle Rodney will be missed by his many nieces, nephews, great-nieces & great-nephews. He was predeceased by his father, Leo; 2 nieces, Renee & Danielle; father-in-law, Tom Houle. The family would like to thank the hospital staff on 5C3, 5C4 & especially 3C4 for looking after Rodney. A Celebration of Rodney’s Life will be held on Tuesday, April 1 at 1:00 p.m. at Goodfish Lake Cultural Centre, Goodfish Lake. Pastor Linda Burns will be officiating, with interment in Goodfish Lake Community Cemetery, Goodfish Lake. I would love to thank Audrey Houle for the special care she gave my brother an her love of her life. She was there to tend to his daily care with so much love. I will be forever graceful to her when I was visting she would walk in the room an he just lit up with biggest smile an yes tears at time but u saw the love was extraordinary .

Rodney you where the greatest brother that anyone could have. You passed away with the love of your life at your side. You taught me what love really should be and it has nothing to do with what you have. Audrie I thank you for lovingly brother as your best friend and the love of your life. You cared for him right to the end.the greatest love anyone could be blessed with.

Rodney rest in peace now that you are out of pain. It was so hard watching you suffer and not being able to help you. You were so lucky to have Audrey in your life. I saw how you perked up when she came by you. You two really shared something special and I am so glad Audrey was with you when you passed. Audrey thank you for loving and looking after my brother.
On behalf of my family we say farewell until we met again. You will always remain in our hearts and we will remember fondly all the fun we had at all the garage sales we had together.

Rodney I am so thankful Audrie asked me to stay at the time of your passing. I was at the U the other day and felt your spirit. I just wanted to sit in that room for awhile. You are so missed every day of my life but you are there when I need you. Thanks for being the greatest brother and through are disagreements we always became the bigger person together. Love you and miss you forever.
