Obituary
On November 16, 2019, Mr. Rodger Bugera of Elk Point passed away at the age of 51 years. He is survived by his loving mother, Carol of Elk Point; mother of his children, Anita; daughter, Rai-Anne of Hinton; son, Nathan of Hinton; sister, Christine (Kerry Charlton) of Elk Point; & nephew, Jordan of Elk Point. Rodger was predeceased by his father, Mike “Billy”. A Funeral Service will be held on Tuesday, November 26 at 11:00 a.m. at Elk Point Seniors (Pioneer Circle), Elk Point. Pastor Kelly Sibley will be officiating, with interment in Holy Eucharist Ukrainian Catholic Cemetery, Elk Point. If desired, donations may be made to Alberta Heart & Stroke Foundation or Alberta Lung Association c/o 5626 – 51 Street, St. Paul, AB T0A 3A1. I am very sorry to hear of Rodger’s sudden passing. I was Just reminiscing thinking about the good old days visiting Baba & Gido’s house in Elk Point and all the cousins playing together. I remember eating jam sandwiches. It really doesn’t seem that long ago. Thinking of you Aunty Carol & Christine during this very sad time.💔
