Obituary
On May 20, 2017, Mr. Roderick Solomon “Mush” Lapatak of Saddle Lake passed away at the age of 74 years. He is survived by his daughter, Louella Lapatak; 2 sons, Winston (Cynthia) Lapatak & Anthony Cross; 13 grandchildren, Amber (Dickie), Craig, Rodrick, Kent, Josh, Lance, Shera-Lee, Kelsey, Roxy, Darla, Tempest, Savannah & Felicia; siblings, Marguerite Brown, Louis (Lena) Lapatak, Clifford Lightning, Christina Hurd, Christina Badger, Linda Dumont, Marlene Collins & Melvin Badger; numerous nieces & nephews. He was predeceased by his wife, Yvonne Lapatak; daughter, Rhonda Lapatac; parents, Roderick & Madeline Lapatak; brothers & sisters, Jean Taylor, Esther Patenaude, Carol Lightning, Brian Badger, Helen Badger, Lorna Badger, Laurence Badger & Lena Badger. A Wake will be held on Wednesday (leaving Grace Gardens at 3:00 p.m.) & Thursday, May 24 & 25 at the residence of the late Roderick Lapatak, Saddle Lake. Funeral Service will be held on May 26 at 11:00 a.m. at Ayiwakes Cultural Centre, Saddle Lake. Interment in United Church Cemetery, Saddle Lake.
